A high-performance 3DOF motion platform for sim racing
The MOZA HMA150 Motion System is a 3DOF sim racing motion platform built around four actuators capable of reproducing pitch, roll and vertical cockpit movement. Its 150 mm travel, maximum speed of 300 mm/s and acceleration exceeding 1 g allow drivers to feel braking, acceleration, weight transfer and suspension movement. Its 0–200 Hz vibration range complements these movements with precise haptic feedback for engine speed, kerbs and track surface texture.

The MOZA HMA150 uses four actuators to move the cockpit across three degrees of freedom: pitch, roll and heave. The platform reproduces chassis dive under braking, lateral movement through corners and vertical displacement caused by bumps or suspension compression. It offers a stated range of ±75 mm in heave, ±7.59° in pitch and ±12.04° in roll, with a maximum travel of 150 mm per actuator.
Up to 300 mm/s with a 0–200 Hz vibration range
A maximum speed of 300 mm/s and acceleration exceeding 1 g allow the MOZA HMA150 motion system to react quickly to data sent by the simulation. Large-amplitude movements are complemented by vibration frequencies of up to 200 Hz, reproducing both engine pulses and finer details such as track seams and changes in surface texture. With a 250 kg payload, the system can reach more than 1 g and 300 mm/s. At its maximum 350 kg payload, its stated performance reaches 0.45 g and 150 mm/s.
An integrated system controlled through MOZA Motion Manager
The servo motors, ball-screw actuators, control algorithms and software have all been developed by MOZA to operate as a single integrated system. MOZA Motion Manager centralises motion profiles and settings, with official presets and adjustable parameters to suit the vehicle or preferred driving feel. A 21-bit magnetic encoder and 600 MHz control processor handle data in real time. The RGB lighting can also display telemetry information related to ABS, traction control or racing flags.
