The MOZA Racing R16 Ultra is a 16 Nm Direct Drive wheelbase designed to reproduce the behaviour of a racing car with precision. Its new high-density flat-wire motor, 21-bit magnetic encoder and NextGen 4.0 force feedback algorithm work together to transmit grip changes, weight transfer and road surface detail. Compact and built entirely from aluminium alloy, the MOZA R16 Ultra fits a wide range of racing cockpits and features dedicated ports for compatible MOZA ecosystem peripherals.

A Direct Drive motor delivering 16 Nm of constant torque

The MOZA R16 Ultra wheelbase delivers 16 Nm of constant torque for strong and consistent force feedback throughout each session. Its high-density flat-wire motor offers a stated 12% greater torque density than similarly sized competing motors. The zero-cogging design provides smoother steering rotation, with less noticeable stepping when the wheel moves slowly. This level of power helps drivers feel steering loads and vehicle reactions during braking, direction changes and loss of grip.

A 21-bit magnetic encoder for precise steering input

The 21-bit magnetic encoder inside the MOZA Racing R16 Ultra provides a resolution of 2,097,152 points per revolution. This precise steering position measurement allows the wheelbase to reproduce small corrections and subtle changes in force feedback with greater detail. The MOZA NextGen Force Feedback 4.0 algorithm complements the motor and encoder to provide clearer feedback from kerbs, bumps, weight transfer and front-end movement.

Advanced tuning and complete cockpit integration

MOZA Pit House software allows drivers to adjust force feedback curves, interpolation, damping, friction, spring effects and road feedback. The wheelbase also supports iRacing 360 Hz and a wide selection of compatible racing titles. Its intelligent cooling system monitors motor temperature and regulates torque to maintain stable performance during longer sessions. Front, bottom and side mounting options make installation easier across different sim racing cockpits, while dedicated ports allow compatible MOZA pedals, dashboards and shifters to connect directly to the wheelbase.
