Next Level Racing Motion
Next Level Racing Motion Plus Platform
The Motion Plus Platform by Next Level Racing is a compact motion platform designed to transform a compatible sim racing cockpit into a true motion simulator. It moves the chassis to reproduce bumps, kerbs, braking, acceleration and vehicle movements with greater realism.
Designed for racing simulation and flight sim, this solution adds a physical dimension to your setup without requiring an overly bulky installation. The cockpit becomes more alive, more responsive and more immersive, while retaining a format suited to compact configurations.

Compact actuator-based motion simulation
The Motion Plus Platform adds an extra physical dimension to your setup. The steering wheel sends feedback through your hands, the pedals help refine braking precision, while the motion platform adds cockpit movement for a more complete level of immersion.
Its compact format makes it possible to progressively upgrade an existing installation without moving straight to a much bulkier motion simulator. It can be used on its own to discover motion sim racing, or combined with a second unit for a more complete experience.

A motion platform designed for realism
A cockpit that follows the movements of the vehicle
The Motion Plus Platform acts directly on the chassis to create a more global motion experience than simple haptic feedback. The cockpit reacts to in-game telemetry data to reproduce heave, pitch and roll movements. When driving, this helps you better feel track variations, weight transfer, braking phases, acceleration and changes in vehicle load.
Fast and precise reactions
The motion platform processes up to 4000 calculations per second to deliver precise feedback between the game, the software and the hardware. It can reach up to 1100 mm/s² of acceleration, up to 21 degrees per second of roll speed, and braking or acceleration effects up to 8 degrees per second. These performances deliver a sharp, readable response suited to the demands of sim racing and flight sim.
A solution developed for simulation
The Motion Plus Platform uses technology designed for simulation, with magnetic encoders connected to the motor shaft to improve the accuracy of the feedback transmitted to the cockpit. The goal is to create movements that are consistent with what is happening in-game, rather than turning the experience into a simple spectacular effect.
DOF scalability
1 platform
2 DOF experience
With a single Motion Plus Platform, your cockpit already benefits from a dynamic 2 DOF system experience. This configuration allows you to feel weight transfer, braking, cornering and chassis reactions with a compact installation.
2 platforms
3 DOF experience
Adding a second Motion Plus Platform allows the cockpit to evolve into a more complete 3 DOF system, with heave, pitch and roll. The movement becomes more complete, especially for feeling vertical variations, compressions and vehicle reactions.
The Motion Plus Platform can also be integrated with the Motion Platform V3 to progressively build a more advanced motion simulator. See our compatibility chart in the dedicated tab.

Software, VR and custom settings
Platform Manager to adjust the feeling
The Motion Plus Platform works with the PC Platform Manager software. It lets you adjust the intensity of motion, bumps, roll and pitch according to your game, cockpit and driving preferences. The interface remains accessible, with quick settings to adapt the sensations without requiring a complex configuration.
Compatible with racing and flight games on PC
The motion platform is designed to work with major racing and flight titles on PC. It can therefore be integrated into a sim racing setup as well as a flight sim configuration. This versatility allows the same dynamic cockpit to be used for multiple simulation disciplines.
VR compatible with VR Headway 2.0
The Motion Plus Platform is VR compatible thanks to the VR Headway 2.0 integration in Platform Manager. This technology helps better synchronize simulator movements with the virtual environment in order to limit unwanted sensations in virtual reality.
Why choose this product?
Why choose the Motion Plus Platform for sim racing?
The Motion Plus Platform is a relevant solution for progressively moving into motion sim racing and dynamic flight sim. It adds physical feedback that the steering wheel and pedals cannot transmit on their own, by moving the cockpit according to the vehicle’s reactions. For a driver looking to improve immersion without immediately switching to a complete motion simulator, it is an excellent entry point.
Its main advantage lies in its scalability. You can start with a single platform, then add a second unit to enhance chassis movement. This approach allows you to build a more realistic setup step by step, with a compact solution that is VR compatible and integrated into the Next Level Racing ecosystem.
Compatible with many sim racing games and flight simulation titles, the Motion Plus platform by Next Level Racing lets you rediscover your favorite games on a motion simulator.

Frequently asked questions about the Motion Plus Platform
Thomas
Simracing reviewer
The Next Level Racing Motion Plus Platform is a motion platform we know particularly well, as it was the solution we used to build our very first dynamic simulators. Some sim racers may have already seen it in the videos we produced with Superchicane. Even today, we still consider it one of the most accessible and scalable ways to discover motion simulation in sim racing. The Motion Plus works in a way that is quite similar to compact actuators. You can install a single module at the front or rear of a compatible cockpit, or use two units for an even more immersive experience. With one platform, you already get a very convincing 2 DOF motion system. With two Motion Plus units, you add a true Heave dimension, meaning full vertical movements transmitted through the entire cockpit. For a single-platform setup, we generally recommend rear mounting, as it helps you better feel weight transfer and that “driving through the seat” sensation, which is especially enjoyable in rally and GT racing. Next Level Racing, on the other hand, generally recommends front mounting to better feel effects such as braking forces. Both configurations are interesting, and the best choice will depend on the type of sensations you want to prioritize. In terms of feedback, the Motion Plus stands out for its speed and its ability to reproduce bumps, compressions and loss of grip with real energy. The movements are detailed, immersive and sometimes a little more “bumpy” than some smoother actuator systems. But that is also what makes it so effective on games like WRC or highly dynamic racing simulations. When pushed to more aggressive settings, this platform can genuinely shake the cockpit. The Motion Platform Manager software is one of the easiest motion software solutions to use. The settings are complete, clearly explained and fully adjustable through sliders. Profiles can also be imported and exported depending on the game and personal preferences, even though the number of presets is more limited than with solutions such as SimRig. As the software is developed by Motion Systems, it remains highly efficient and reliable. One of the biggest advantages of the Motion Plus Platform is its scalability. Starting with a single unit already provides a very fun and engaging motion experience, while leaving the option to add a second Motion Plus later for greater immersion. It is a smart way to progressively enter the world of dynamic sim racing without immediately investing in a full motion setup. Finally, installation is relatively straightforward. Mounting the metal balancing system can require a little patience when using a single platform, but once installed, the whole setup feels solid and robust. With a Next Level Racing cockpit, compatibility is excellent and integration is particularly coherent, which remains one of the major strengths of the brand’s ecosystem.
